A small group of Malaysian adults role-play around a wooden table in a warm community hall, with blank name cards, a tablet and a toy cash box.

About the Demo

A safe rehearsal before real banking begins.

The DonAid Demo lets you try DonAid from the inside. You play a part, set things up as you would for real, and watch donations being tracked from the till to the charity.

Choose your part

  • CharityInvent a charity, publish campaigns and choose which collection agents to partner with.
  • Collection agentInvent a shop, café or online seller that collects small donations at the till and passes them on.
  • Service administratorRun a DonAid service: invite and onboard charities and collection agents, and keep things moving.

How to join

  1. Join the cast. Invent your person and organisation. Use made-up details only.
  2. Keep your demo email and claim code. Both are shown once, on your cast card.
  3. Watch your Demo Mailbox. Your invitation arrives there.
  4. Sign in and onboard. Accept the invitation, then set up partnerships and campaigns.

The limits

  • Everyone is fictional. People, charities, collection agents and services are all invented. Please don't enter real names, addresses or bank details.
  • No real money moves. Donations and bank records are simulated so you can see the whole journey safely.
  • Messages stay inside the Demo. Emails go to the Demo Mailbox, not to real inboxes.
  • Things may be reset. The Demo is a rehearsal space, not a permanent record.
  • Not for donors. If you have a real donation Tag, you don't need the Demo.

Coming later. We may start moving small amounts of our own money around a closed loop, using a virtual collection point with dynamic QR codes. If we do, it will be clearly marked and announced here first.
