How it works

Small donations, fully accounted for, from the till to the charity.

  1. Give.A shopper adds a small donation at the till or online. Their receipt carries a unique DonAid Tag.
  2. Record. The donation data goes straight to DonAid. The money stays with the shop for now.
  3. Remit.DonAid totals what is due and tells the shop. The shop makes one payment to an independent Trustee account.
  4. Check and pay.DonAid checks the bank data and works out each charity's share. The Trustees pay each charity in full.
  5. Prove. When the bank confirms payment, the donor can see their donation has arrived.

Data and money travel separately, so every donation can be checked at every stage.
